What I have in my cart for Prime Day(s)!
Hello and welcome to your 486th email about Prime Day sales! 😅
Listen if you feel like you’ve gotten a lot of emails about Prime Day, I have too! But I’ve scrolled through them all. I subscribe to creators who I want to hear from whether they are talking about spiritual direction, pop culture, home renovation, or fostering dogs.
I want to learn from them and I also want to know what’s in their cart. I’m creepy like that (jkjkjkjk) 🙃
I also know that clicking on their links and engaging with them supports their small business.
Why am I telling you this? I don’t know *nervously contemplates deleting everything.*
Listen, these are complicated times we are in but it feels disingenuous to who I am to just send this email without context. Without me being like, I understand the world is burning. Also look at these cute shoes!!!
I think I’m sharing this because I know what it can feel like to see a writer or creator or influencer you really trust and maybe even look up to start pushing big box stores. Because I have felt incensed (especially earlier in the year) when some of my favorites were doing this. I was like ARE WE READING THE ROOM?!
But I also know that affiliate income for many is a major, if not the biggest, source of income, which is what allows them to keep creating online (much of what they create and share being free to the public). I, too, fall into this camp.
In an ideal world I would make most of my money from what I create (eBooks, my cookbook, masterclasses, tote bags) but I have tried and alas it is not sustainable for me. To be quite frank, I would not be able to continue creating on the internet without affiliate income.
I still want to develop and share delicious easy weeknight meals that you and your family will love. I still want to spend hours creating a recipe video so you can feel more confident in the kitchen. I still want to show up to the internet with kitchen tips and book recommendations and favorites that bring joy.
So here we are. Thank you for being here with me! Anytime you click on a link I share or purchase something I share you are supporting my work. It allows me to keep showing up!
What I Love & What I Want 🛒
I’ve broken this up into two categories, the first are things I actually have and love that I believe to be on a pretty great sale (I skipped sharing things that were only like $2 off).
The second are things I have wanted to try and they are on such a great sale (at the time of writing this) that I think I am going to finally purchase it!
Things I Have & Love 🫶
Needly Cleansing Pads: If you want your face to feel like you took it to the spa, I am telling you these pads are for you! I use them in the morning (instead of fully washing my face, seeing as I washed it the night before). My face instantly feels refreshed, glowy and awake! Sometimes I use them at night after my oil cleanse just to feel a little bougie and extra clean. I have put three more in my cart 😅
The Beast Mini Blender: I got this a few months ago and have not stopped talking about it! I love my Vitamix but I often do not pull it out because it is just so big. With this mini blender I have been pulling together quick dressings and marinades nearly everyday. I even used it to chop nuts the other night.
Medicube Zero Pore Pads: I also got these a few months ago after seeing so many people on the internet share how much they love them. And now I am someone on the internet who loves them! I use these at night after cleansing as my toner. My face looks like glass because of these. I cannot fully express how obsessed I am with them! Right now they are on major sale.
Breville Air Fryer: I purchased this toaster oven and air fryer almost 5 years ago and I have never looked back! I especially love having this in the summer so I do not have to turn on my big oven. It revives leftovers (think chicken tenders, fries, pizza), bakes faster than a conventional oven and maybe my favorite thing I make in it is my Sweet Glazed Air Fryer Salmon!
Magnetic Knife Block: I love this standing knife block! It is perfect if you do not have a lot of wall space for a magnetic knife strip. I purchased it almost positive I’d return it if it looked cheap. BUT! It looks so beautiful. And it truly is so functional.
Cheese Grater: Why in the year 2025 am I still using a cheese box grater?! Oh my gosh, grating cheese was my least favorite thing to do in the kitchen but I love freshly grated cheese! Enter this beauty. I can effortlessly grate a whole block of cheese in about 30 seconds. But it also grates and slices veggies too!
Hexclad: I finally got a hex clad pan and no one is more surprised than me about how amazing this pan is. Nothing sticks to this, not even burnt ground turkey (ask me how I know). But somehow it still sears meat like a dream. And it’s dishwasher safe!
Ninja Coffee Maker: This is the upgraded version of our coffee maker! I love this coffee maker with all my heart. It brews coffee quickly and perfectly every time. It is one of the kitchen things I miss the most every time we move and have to live in temporary housing.
Fortessa Water Glasses: If you’ve been here for a minute you know how obsessed I am with these glasses. They are beautiful, dishwasher safe and sturdy!
Kindle Paperwhite: I take my kindle with me everywhere. It’s how I am able to read so much every month. If I lost this I would replace it so fast. I need it on my persons at all times.
Thermometer: This is the thermometer I use for my everyday cooking. Listen I do not care how good of a cook I become, I like knowing my meat is cooked to my liking by something other than me eyeing it 😅 Also it is on major sale!
Ok, onto what I have in my cart. Am I going to purchase all of these? I don’t know, some of them might not be super practical. BUT I AM THINKING ABOUT IT!
Travel Backpack: Listen I have been using my Able leather backpack as a travel backpack for about 5 years and on this last trip to Canada I was like ENOUGH. I need an actual travel backpack (especially for my trip to France coming up). I need compartments and pockets and easy access zippers. But I also still want it to be cute. Alas, I found this one and I am going to get it and give it a go.
Drying Pad: I’ve seen Kate from Naptime Kitchen rave about this drying pad. I love how it looks, how it can fold up, and that it absorbs water so quickly. I’m ready to give it a go!
Colorsoft Paperwhite: Now listen, do I love my Kindle Paperwhite? Yes. Do I want one in color? Also yes 😅 It’s currently $100 off and I feel now is the time to try it. After a lot of research it looks like there was an original issue with a yellow band appearing on the bottom of the screen but Amazon issued a statement that it has since been corrected. I will report back!
Ninja Smoothie Maker: Is this a little ridiculous? Yes! Do I still want it? Yes! Also, it does not need ice…I am still confused by this 😅 But I’ve seen several people use it and it looks amazing. I want this for the smoothie option and to make ice cream. I know I am not a sweets girl but I feel like I could make some seriously delicious ice cream seeing as I have so much love for my heavy cream. Also, frozen rosé. Tis the season!
Anyday Dishes: I already own two of these but I have two more in my cart because I use them so much! They are perfect to reheat leftovers and no matter what I put in them (chicken, chili, veggies) it always comes out of the microwave perfectly cooked!
Leave In Thermometer: I have been curious about these leave in thermometers for years. I especially would love to try them for a whole roasted chicken or a roast. I like the idea of just putting the probe in there and having my phone tell me when it’s done. Again, I will report back! (Also it’s on major sale!!)
And that’s a wrap! Is there anything you are excited to get on Prime Day(s)?!

I appreciate you always showing up honestly and authentically Bri! Your recommendations always feel like those text messages in the group chat after happy hour or dinner where we follow up on the things we shared we were loving and wanting everyone at the table to know about. I can't wait to peruse this list and see what I need to add to my cart :)
Love this post! I’m trying not to buy things on Amazon day but I do love seeing what is in everyone’s cart!
